Giving Clubs

The Ichabod Club was established by Washburn University to recognize those who provide scholarship assistance to student athletes and support specific sports or purposes.

The mission of the Ichabod Club is simply to provide the scholarship assistance to young men and women student-athletes (tuition, fees, books, room and board) unless the contribution is restricted to a specific sport or some other specific purpose. As a member of the Ichabod Club, you play a vital role in the continuing success of Washburn Athletics by providing the scholarship assistance necessary to attract and retain quality athletes.

Opportunities for alumni, friends, parents and boosters to become involved with the Ichabod Club program are available through pregame parties, golf tournaments, the Ichabod Club newsletter, monthly luncheons, the kick-off party and other special events.

Membership in the Friends of the Mulvane Art Museum helps provide exhibits and programs for the public. Your membership entitles you to a number of benefits, including invitations to exhibition previews and special events, reduced rates on museum classes, priority reservations on museum trips, and a 10% discount in the museum gift shop.
