The Washburn Annual Fund The Washburn Annual fund is primarily designed to raise unrestricted funds. Contributions to the Washburn Fund can critically shape the life of Washburn students and expand campus horizons. Unrestricted funds can be used whenever and wherever they are needed the most.
The needs change somewhat each year, however; generally unrestricted gifts are used to fund instruction and academic support, scholarships, student services, administration, maintenance, and campus beautification projects. In fact, every academic department receives a portion of the funds. Washburn students call alumni throughout the year sharing new developments on campus and seeking support.
